Kirsten Bornkessel is an American up and coming 17 year old singer/songwriter/bedroom producer. While attending school, she spends most of her free time writing and recording music. Inspired by the music of Martin Garrix, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Adele and Billie Ellish, she loves to write music in the genres of pop which often includes a slight twist of EDM.

Her love of singing began at the early age of 10 when she played the role of Dorothy in "Wizard of Oz" at her local community theatre. As she sang the theme song "Somewhere Over the Rainbow", the thrill of performing on stage and applause from the audience touched her soul. She knew she was destined to become a musician. At 14 and recently at 16, she joined the 21 and under "All You Got Tour" in New England which gives her many opportunities to perform. After attending a Coachella concert at 15 years old, she started learning Logic on her computer and writing EDM/Pop songs in her bedroom. Her first original song "Aside" was then added to the music platforms.

Kirsten has written and recorded several original songs, including her latest song "State of Mind" released in April 2019. Many of her lyrics are written with deep feelings and a sense of how teenagers view the current state of themselves and the world around them. Her mission: to inspire teens that we all have gifts and anything is possible.

She has recently completed 3 more original songs this past summer of 2019 in New York and gearing up for an amazing year with new music, and more opportunities.
